Blackhawks Add 4 to Taxi Squad

On Monday morning the Blackhawks made a number of additions to their taxi squad before departing on a crucial road trip to Dallas and Florida.

Forwards Brandon Pirri and Reese Johnson and defenseman Nicolas Beaudin were re-assigned to the taxi squad from Rockford. The Hawks also swapped goaltender Collin Delia for Matt Tomkins on the taxi squad; Delia was on a conditioning assignment with the IceHogs (that didn’t go very well).

Tomkins was assigned to Rockford.

I thought Delia’s last 2 starts for RKF were good – no?

Can we please see Johnson on the ice again? Does Pirri get another shot or is he just a placeholder? If dehaan is out for the 2 Dallas games, do we see 7 d again? Keith, murphy, 16, and pick which 4 of the following: Boquivst, Mitchell, Carlsson, Kalynuk, Beaudein. Glad to see practice was optional. Vets could use a break

What is Scott Darling’s status in Rockford? Will he get a shot at moving up?
