obviously this administration is all over what is most important. they participate in an inane search process leading to naming an inexperienced new general manager mere weeks before the trade deadline. meanwhile they continue to allow an incompetent fool to coach the varsity, but at least thrill the fan base by naming a new home tv voice of the blackhawks.

They made the right choice. Soon as i heard him, I knew he should be the guy. Good luck to him. Now get rid of Nasal Colby.

Many did not like the process, but it seems like an excellent choice was made. Maybe he’ll be around for 40 years too.

Should be a capable replacement, will miss Foley but should be fine with Vosters.

See Dale Tallon going to be in the booth for a game before end of season. Wonder if he’d accept an advisory role to KD, only way at this point I see him joining the front office.

Ian: I think Tallon is pretty much retired as this point, but I’d sign him in a heartbeat as a scout.

Hammer don’t see him taking a spot where he is working under KD and Macivor, just not going to happen. That’s why i said an advisory role where he is basically his own boss and the organization can benefit from his expeience and his workload is controllable. The line was drawn that KD will be the top hockey position so a sidewise type of move like this is all I see him taking.

Ian: There’s no way in heck that Tallon would take the job. StanBo admitted it himself when he said that he was amazed on how Tallon was a great scout of hockey talent. After he took his job.

I was mad when Lloyd Petit was replaced by a boring Adam West many years ago, but I loved when West was replaced by Foley. Now, I hope Vosters describes details and goes ape shit when something good happens. An announcer can sometimes create excitement where a coach or GM failed to.

Personally I would have chosen the guy Ross that did some games, I thought he was smooth and very prepared for his games. Hope this works out, Pat and Dale were gold in their time.

Would rather hear more of Edzo’s son than Colby, let Colby stay in the studio.
