Since our last update(s), Hawks prospects have been honored by a few leagues. Kyle Beach was named the AHL Player of the Week, and Mark McNeill earned WHL Player of the Week honors.
Some later round draft picks from recent years are enjoying some success recently, as well as a few first round picks.
Vince Hinostroza (left) led all forwards at the World Junior A Challenge with eight points – six goals (one short-handed, one powerplay) and two assists – in four games, as Team USA captured gold. He was named the tournament MVP.
