Blackhawks Prospects Named to USA WJC Roster

Forward Brandon Saad and defensemen Adam Clendening and Stephen Johns were named to the final roster for the United States at the upcoming World Junior Championships.

Saad, 19, saw action with the Blackhawks early in the 2011-12 season before being reassigned to his junior team in Saginaw. He is listed at 6’2″ and 206 pounds and was a second round pick by the Hawks in the 2011 Draft.

Clendening, 19, is listed at 5’11” and 190 pounds and is currently playing at Boston University. He is a second round pick by the Hawks in the 2011 Draft. Johns, 19, is listed at 6’4″ and 221 pounds and is currently playing at Notre Dame. The Blackhawks selected Johns in the second round of the 2010 Draft.

    Congrats guys!!! Saad has such a bright future with the Hawks. I hope him and Pirri are Hawks full time next year. They are both doing wonders for their teams.
