Blackhawks Re-Sign Dennis Rasmussen
On Wednesday the Blackhawks announced the team has agreed to a one-year extension with forward Dennis Rasmussen.
Rasmussen, 25, posted nine points four goals ans five assists in 44 games as a rookie in Chicago last season. He won 46.9 percent of 309 faceoffs and blocked 20 shots while averaging 9:09 per game.
Booo ! Rasmussen is not good at hockey. At least at this level.
League minimum. Not a terrible roster filler.
role player, wasnt horrible, 4th line talent for league min; works for me!
Chris Kuc tweeting that Hawks are shopping Kruger and also looking into trade possibilities with Shaw.
As I posted under the Salary Cap thread. I think the Hawks keep either Kruger or Shaw, but not both. You can’t have both these guys on the roster making north of
$3 Million.
Rasmussen possible 4-th line center or 13th forward at $575,000.
Good signing. Not much offense but hard on the puck and fine defensively. Agree with Craig’s assessment.
That salary may ensure him a spot at the NHL level.
Hmmm. Does this mean Rosival is not coming back?
“Hmmm. Does this mean Rosival is not coming back?” — ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha…
” ‘Hmmm. Does this mean Rosival is not coming back?’ — ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha…” — of course, there’s a really good possibility that Q considers him “irreplaceable”.
