Not much of a surprise here? No need for more unnecessary 4th line veterans after Tootoo. Plenty of prospects looked much better.

Agreed. Roster filler for a game.

    Iceman- thanks for the laugh…

like the quick decisions… BUT- will Hawks have the Balls to lose the Bouma and or Wingels deals (if he is as invisible as Bouma was Tuesday)???

in favor of the New– (and Tiny sample size ) … Prospects- I can easily name 6 kids/forwards- that were way better than Bouma Tuesday… but- safe move is more likely- keep him-cliches of Veteran depth, sand paper on that lower line, blah-blah-blah

same for Kero- I like Kero- smart player… always on the right side of the Puck… I just don’t see his upside… Mashinter/Bollig were always on the right side of the puck… Kind of like watching Artis Gilmore clear the D side of the court with about 10 seconds left on the shot clock.

Wall I don’t see both Bouma and Tootoo staying on the roster, Jurco I think has to produce or they will move him and Hossa’s spot, could open up 3 more places for the the younger guys once the season starts.

    Lot’s more cuts:

Blackhawks with more cuts. Dahlstrom, Highmore, Iacopelli, Johnson, Knott, Louis, Norell, Press, Sikura, Raddysh, Tomkins & Pelletier to AHL

Jokiharju & Bondra also go back to the CHL. Blackhawks are down to 40 players (22 forwards, 13 defensemen & 5 goalies) in camp.
