With the 79th overall selection in the 2011 NHL Draft, the Blackhawks selected defenseman Klas Dahlbeck from Linkoping in Sweden (SEL). He’s listed at 6’2 and 194 pounds, and posted eight assists in 47 games last year. Central Scouting had him rated 23rd among European skaters.
