Bowman has his pipeline of skilled players for thd future and will have ability to add any pieces he needs by upcoming drafts. Also be able to take care of now needs each off season through trades and ufa’s going forward. Certainly not the picks i would of made but he is where he is for a reason and i’m not. No idea how these guys will fare out but i like the posdibilities.

This could have been a Good draft of they would have grabbed at least one of these to players Oliver or Veno now it is either a disappointment or a great defense Draft

IMO Bowman has a good drafting record

I’ll remain optimistic about this draft until proven otherwise

The Boquist highlights are tantalizing – if he’s all that in the NHL (the big question of course) he’ll be a star

Noonan, that’s what I thought, people just kept on the bad draft speech post after post. I am not trying to piss anyone, it got too negative (9/10) for me. I try to not be so positive about everything (all the time) so I know what its like to not be a Homer on both ends.

I’m not surprised Veleno has dropped. He is a good player but was expected to be so much more when given exceptional status. I saw him play many times with the Sea Dogs and he didn’t wow like Huberdeau or Hoffman did. The Sea Dogs saw their chance to move him for quite a haul of picks and did. I think that Wise may end up better.

Canes heavy on right D now, Faulks ntc kicks in July 1st, so will find out this week if there is any fire there or not. Yeah Goldenbladz glad they took a look at Veleno and decided to Wise up.

Good see your comments Goldenbladz-Velano seems not to wow people but they like his future role in the NHL.
Exceptional status is an interesting situation and you could end up more Sean Day than John Tavares. They need to make sure it stays ‘exceptional’.
One thing is for sure this team may be a skilled, quick team in a few years.
