Blackhawks Send 12 Kids Packing

On Tuesday afternoon the Blackhawks made some roster space by reassigning or releasing 12 prospects.

Forwards Matthew Highmore, Matheson Iacopelli, Luke Johnson, Graham Knott and Anthony Louis and defensemen Carl Dahlstrom and Robin Norell were sent to Rockford.

Defenseman Robin Press and forward Tyler Sikura were released from their PTOs.

Forward William Pelletier, defenseman Darren Raddysh and goaltender Matt Tomkins were released from their ATOs.

Chicago now has 40 players on their training camp roster (22 forwards, 13 defensemen and 5 goaltenders).

No surprises. Helps to clear the deck and give more attention to the guys with a legit shot.

Didn’t they just sign Raddysh after he had a great career in DeBrincat’s team?

Totti you forgot Kempny. He is a top 5 dman on this team at the very least.

I hope Snuggy makes it too as I am excited about his potential, but he is a long shot to make the team out of camp. I look for him to head to Rockford and get a year of pro hockey under his belt and make the team next year.
