Blackhawks Send 4 To Rockford

On Friday morning, the Blackhawks announced that they have assigned forwards David Kampf and Laurent Dauphin and defenseman Erik Gustafsson to the Rockford IceHogs. They sent goaltender Collin Delia to Rockford on Thursday.

Chicago’s training camp roster is now at 32 players (18 forwards, 11 defensemen and three goaltenders).

Hawks-” should be sellers… I would be seller- if I were SB”…

Looks- like that Idiot was right… cuz Hawks got SMACKED versus Preds (Inspite of all those Regular season points???) Who could of predicted that??? Wall-Strodamus!!! did!!!! That’s why he didn’t watch the Preds/Hawks series…

Here is another prediction… It will take Schmaltz at least 3 years in Playoffs- to surpass Fabbri’s Points in Playoffs.. Maybe longer…

I am sorry for not predicting Fabbri – would suffer a terrible knee injury… got me there.

Name- one guy on Hawks this preseason who has fallen down more than Toews… without contact ??? No- there is nothing wrong with the $10.5Million man–

    Please stop hurting my feelings!

I am starting to get the idea… you don’t like me… If you don’t stop… I will be forced to stop posting my brilliant ideas/thoughts.

That would be nice ER-I think if there was a way it would have been done.

it would be great to have both Schmaltz and Fabbri, injury and all. Different style but both could be good,.

Best way to remove the trolls is ignore them.

Is it just me or is this the first time in the last decade where all the cuts are making perfect sense and things are going the direction we basically want them to?

Laurent Dauphin and Kamph will be recall During the year for sure…Dauphin is more likely to be recall first .

    Gander – you’re correct.

And, I agree with you on the cuts making sense too. So far there have been no “what? reactions.

Does anybody else think Q will never get over the game 7 turnover by Gustafson ?
No NHL games last year, one pre-season game this year, heck even Svedberg got that. So did Jokiharju.

Suddenly Q has a change of heart about Pokka (last portion of interview today he gave VP a glowing review )

Hard to see where Pokka would though unless they were thinking if releasing Franson. Q hasn’t had alot of praise for Franson but seems likely after 3 months of being told he would sign it might happen.

The Franson situation is kind of hard to read. I did hear the TV guys (Foley and Konroyd) say that the coaches have been full of praise to them about Franson and his game. Maybe Q and his guys feel that Franson is somewhat of a given and are spending their time evaluating the others. Just guessing, of course.

At least there does seem to be some competition in the D ranks between guys that have quality aspects to their games. I’ve enjoyed watching this preseason in terms of looking at the different options at Forward and Defense. Seen some speed that may not be elite, but seems better than last year.

And, to sum up this long post (sorry) I’ve liked the PP. Seems to be more working the puck inside and not just flip it around to the wings and fire a shot without a screen.

Franson is really a big body so maybe thats the reason why they want to get him on the team …and because his experience …but he is Slow .
1-1.5 million for a year would be ok …not more

I don’t have a problem with Franson making the team so long as it is a VERY cap freindly deal. He would be fine as a 7th/8th d-man who rarely sees the ice. Let the Snuggeruds and other young d-men get important minutes in Rockford to be better prepared to matriculate when they’ve proven their ready.

Damning me with faint praise – what a novel idea. Not well executed, but novel nonetheless.
