Blackhawks Sign Michael Frolik, Sami Lepisto
The Chicago Blackhawks have reached agreements with free agents Michael Frolik and Sami Lepisto.
The deal with Frolik is reportedly three years, $7M (a $2.33M cap number). Frolik, 23, split last year between Florida and Chicago, finishing with 38 points in 80 games.
The deal with Lepisto is one year, and the financial terms have not yet been released. Lepisto, who will turn 27 within two weeks of Opening Night, split last year between Phoenix and Columbus, finishing the season with 72 hits and 90 blocked shots in 70 games.
