Blackhawks Sign Robin Norell

On Thursday, the Blackhawks signed defenseman Robin Norell to a three-year entry-level deal. Norell, 21, was a fourth round pick (#111 overall) by the Hawks in 2013. He posted two goals and six assists in 51 games with Djurgardens in Sweden this year.

Norell will report to Rockford on a professional tryout contract, and his ELC begins with the 2016-17 season.

I want to see Gustav Forsling signed. His team (Linkopings HC) appears to have been knocked out of the playoffs…

They were playing Vaxjo and that team was the 6 seed and Gustav’s team was 3rd, but Vaxjo won the two most recent games and moved on to play the top-seeded team today, so I think they are out.

    He had 1g, 2 A, 3 P in 6 playoff games.
