Bondra, From Make WJC Rosters
On Friday, Finland, Russia, Slovakia and Denmark named their final rosters for the upcoming World Junior Championship tournament.
The tournament, being hosted by Montreal and Toronto, will be held between Dec. 26 and Jan. 5 at the Bell Centre and Air Canada Centre.
Forward Radovan Bondra was named to Slovakia’s roster. Bondra, who will turn 20 on Jan. 27, has 18 goals and 11 assists with Vancouver in the WHL this season.
Forward Mathias From was named to Denmark’s roster. From, who turned 19 on Dec. 16, has two goals and one assist in 26 games with Rögle BK in the SHL.
Sweden has not made final cuts yet, but they still have two Blackhawks prospects on their camp roster. Defenseman Lucas Carlsson and forward John Dahlström are on Sweden’s roster.
The United States cut forward Alex DeBrincat earlier this week, but still have defenseman Chad Krys on the roster.
