Dylan Strome Will Make Season Debut vs Vancouver

You know who will solve all of the Blackhawks’ issues right now? Dylan effin’ Strome.

And guess who’s back in the active lineup as the Blackhawks look for their first win of the season against Vancouver on Thursday night? Dylan effin’ Strome.

Philipp Kurashev will get an evening off to make room for Strome in the lineup.

To be clear: this doesn’t mean Strome is off the trade block. But it does indicate the Blackhawks are (rightfully) desperate to generate any 5-on-5 offense. And Strome could help in that regard.

of course when I saw the image, i thought the headline was going to involve a trade…sigh…but anything to help right now would be appreciated. and if history has taught us anything, a player we all want to see traded will of course come in and somehow score a bunch of goals and warrant more ice time. but again, I’d rather Strome all of a sudden be the answer than lose more games.

so far in these games the hawks really do look weak. stan has added a lot of height to the roster, but not necessarily weight, or a willingness to throw the body. There are more hits than we’ve seen in the past, but in the end it always just looks like kids playing against adults.

Not expecting Strome to be the answer, but seriously, he is easily one of the Hawks top 12 forwards on this roster. Not sure why it took to game 5 for him to make the lineup.

Not sad about Kurashev, he hasn’t looked like a top six forward for most of this year. When he comes back I hope he is slotted lower in the lineup.

I kind of hoped the Hawks would have figured a lot of these lines out in preseason. This whole line blender thing one period into the new season makes me think the preseason was a complete waste of time. Not a good look for the head coach. This team needs something to change and fast.

Guess we can add Gaudette to the list of Colliton,s castaways. Reese Johnson, Mitchell, Beaudin, with an open end to the list. Strome will play 1 good game and 3 bad. That has been his history, but I have been wrong before. The Canucks are another team in the midst of a long road trip so the Titelist Pro V 1 is once again teed up for our Hawks. We will see.

Can Hawks fans get on the board tonight, or will the Walldogs’ streak reach 5? They are getting overconfident – can read it in their posts.

I’m pretty sure we get a resumption of the Pat and Eddie sexathon tonight. So there’s something to look forward to enjoying.

And can they do away with Shaw and this Colby dude because they suck as analysts. Same as the Coaching staff , don’t have a clue.

All I’m asking for is for to Strome increase his trade value tonite.

Gaudette takes over the Strome position in the Pressbox

Tonight they celebrate Kaner’s 1000th game before a “sellout”?

Rumor has it JC isn’t quite on the hot seat as of now.

Silent Spot: What you should do is add some vodka to your Kool Aid. It doesn’t help the Hawks play any better but it will appear like they are. The ways things are going now a win will feel like you won the Cup. Cheers!!!

A normal coach would have Gaudette in the lineup tonight against his former team. Not these bozo coaches. Matthew Highmore will probably score a goal tonight against his former team.

Thanks for the kind thought Hammer. I actually like Kool-Aide. Punch is best flavor for me! I don’t drink at the trough of anyone about anything. I am more than capable of making my own decisions based on facts, not alternative ones. Sometimes I get it right. Sometimes I get it wrong.

And Jack Daniels is my drink of choice. We have a good relationship!

    Enjoy the game tonight.

Tim W a Pro V would be a waste of a ball to tee up. Hawks would hit it off the toe. Tee up a rock Velocity.

Started with a Stella now on Squirt & Tequila Hammer and Silent. Nice mix.

Earl- great post- Shaw and other guy … like watching Biden in a presser,,, bunch of bumbling and garbage/ cheer leading.

Post game= to the coaching/playing/ GM– I guess that is the true meaning of “one Goal”

@HossaHawk…I was thinking the same thing about Gaudette. The energy a guy brings against his former team is exponentially higher than against other teams, and this energy is infectious to his teammates to help him “show up” the team that traded him.

Well, Highmore had the primary assist on the the first goal.

Just a poor human being for a coach! He really must go!!!
