First Look At Marc-André Fleury In Blackhawks Gear

On Thursday morning we got our first look at Marc-André Fleury in his Blackhawks gear.

The pads are his new Blackhawks pads (you can see the red, black and white trim) but appear to have an old school look. We also get a first look at the patch the Blackhawks will wear to honor Tony Esposito this season.

Seth Jones also modeled the new look.

Allen signing a good move 2010, under contract and 2 eligible slide years too if not ready for Nhl, could be 4 or 5 years until he needs another contract if needed for development.

When the Hawks draft him I was a bit in shock because he was rank at 66 77 and 132 on 3 site but when I saw that team C ananda decide to play him every game then I said to myself their must be a reason the coaches want him on their team.
Now I read a few things about Allan and the Hawks where afraid that he would be gone iff they didn’t take him in first round . I am glad they signed Nolan and like you say 2 years to slide him is very very good. I read somewhere that the kid who just turn 18 4 months ago is NHL ready when you talk about skating and positioning So maybe the Hawks have discover a nice defensive Dman plus the guy like to hit .
He will probably play with is junior team this year ( iff they play the season )
He need to develop and Hawks don’t need him now . One guy on a site said that Nolan was a natural and that he was a fast learner …..maybe we have a gem here and the kid has time to grow physically. Now he is at 1,88 cm ( 6,2 ) 88kilos ( 195 livres) can reach easily 1,92cm and 93 kilos I think . Time will tell

The importance of leadership on and off the ice is immeasurable. Fluery brings this in spades along with outstanding work ethic and proven ability. Go hawks!! I have been a loyal fan of the Hawks since 1957 when the Golden Jet Bobby Hill arrived.
