The 2017 Men’s World Championship begins Friday with games in Cologne, Germany and Paris, France.

  • Marcus Kruger – Sweden
  • Michal Kempny – Czech Republic

Here are the two groups for the opening round games:

    Actually this will be even less interesting than that yawner they called the World Cup.

    Sad that Kruger and Panarin signed on for this after they (and the rest of the Blackhawk veterans) were no shows in the play-offs. I can understand the young guys trying to make an impression but with guys who were paid big bucks (and are signed for next season and beyond) some soul searching and resting should be going on now. Maybe I should re-evaluate where I spend my money because the place that currently gets my hockey dollars seems to lack the commitment it takes me to earn my pay.
