Forbes Releases 2011 NHL Team Valuations

Forbes.com has released their NHL franchise valuations for 2011, and the Blackhawks are ranked seventh in the league. Forbes estimates the Blackhawks value to be $300M.

Impressively, the Blackhawks exponential growth under the leadership of Rocky Wirtz really hits home when comparing Forbes’ list from the final season under his father’s ownership, 2006-07, to today. In 2007, Forbes ranked the Blackhawks 16th in the NHL, with an approximate value of $179M.
