Going Out On Olimb: Blackhawks Sign Center From Norway
On Thursday the Blackhawks announced that they have agreed to terms with center Mathis Olimb. The financials have not yet been released.
Olimb, 24, represented Norway in the 2010 Winter Olympics and spent the 2009-10 season with Frolunda of the Swedish Elite League. He led Frolunda with 25 assists and was third with 34 points in 55 games. He is listed at 5’11 and 175 pounds.
In 2004-05, Olimb played with current Hawks center Dave Bolland with the London Knights of the OHL.
