Happy Birthday, Patrick Kane

It’s Friday, Nov. 19. Patrick Kane turns 33 today.

How old does it make you feel to realize that Patrick Kane is 33. And has become, in my opinion, the second-best player in the history of the Blackhawks.

Here’s where Kane currently ranks in the history of the Blackhawks:

  • Games Played: 4th (1,041)
  • Goals: 3rd (410)
  • Assists: 3rd (695)
  • Points: 3rd (1,105)
  • Game-Winning Goals: 3rd (67)

The only player who ranks ahead of Kane in each of those categories is Stan Mikita, who will likely forever be the No. 1 player to ever wear the Indian head.

Kane was — and still is — the only player drafted No. 1 overall by the Blackhawks. That’s a big distinction, and heavy expectations came with him. He’s lived up to every ounce of the hype. We’ve been fortunate to watch the greatest American-born player in NHL history do his thing.

So happy we could get this player at the perfect time for the Hawks
When I see the goal against the Flyers I love it but when I see Quenville behind the bench and Bowman I have a bit a bitter taste and I think about Beach …they knew and that part I really feel bad and I will never see Quenville and Bowman the same way .
Kane is probably the best Hawks ever because he help the Hawks win 3 Stanley Cups and that’s what’s make him the best Hawks ever in my heart. Thanks to Patrick Kane for all those good moments you gave me.

Short story long, we went to see a Hawks-Avs game in Denver a few years back on Kaner’s b-day, which my wife shares with him; she had a sign that said Happy Birthday to him and that it was her birthday too, at the end of warmups he saw it and went to flip a puck over the glass to her but some random dude reached in and grabbed it before she could catch it — 88 tapped his stick on the glass, looked at the guy and pointed to my wife — the dude gave my wife the puck and then Kaner tossed another one over for the dude … a little exchange that shows the character of the man who has clearly matured quite nicely

Kane is a magician with the puck – it’s been a thrill to watch him since day one

For someone so skilled the thing I love most about him is his competitiveness – he’s always at his best when the moments are the biggest – he scores clutch goals or sets them up

He’s a first ballot HOFer for sure

    Hbd Kaner

2010 your prediction not happening tonight. More like Tim W’s 9-2 score.

Thanks again to Dollar Bill. In NOLA for a little R&R. Watching on my phone using the link he provided.

Rough start for $Jones. Get rid of that drop pass. Skate the puck up ice. Good Gus can skate the puck up. Bad Gus still has to defend.

No chance for Lank. Leave him in for the whole game no matter what the score. Let’s get 2pts tomorrow in Vancouver.
