IceHogs goaltender Matt Tomkins and Kris Versteeg are also on the roster.

Hossahawk – I’ve compared him you a young Duncan Keith before. Smart, plays every inch of the ice well, leads. Everything you want from a top pair defenseman. Maybe not quite the skater 2 was in his prime but he’ll be special if the Blackhawks can figure out a way to get him on the ice and have coaches who help him develop at the NHL level. I don’t think he’ll spend much/any time in Rockford.

Good to see for tompkins also. I think he’s working his way to a contract with a NHL team soon.
