Well he is an unrestricted free agent so that’s possible. Nice scoop thou and thank God my wife or myself don’t do any of that social media stuff like Instagram, FB and whatever else is out there. Still can’t believe some of the stuff some people put on there. I just yak on Hockey, Football and Golf blogs in no particular order.
Jeez, his ex wife is really in his business.
glad i am old. had a hard enough time being a teenager in the sixties when no one, including myself, knew anything about me.
If it’s his ex-wife why is everything WE
If it’s ex-wife why is everything WE
Nihlas was the ultimate D man for the Hawks ! I would have thought he would move back to Chicago ! But, being Scandinavian ,it’s sort of makes sense to enjoy that quality of life in Sweden ! POPS 4
Who cares ?
I was happy to have him with the Hawks but now I just want him to be happy what ever he decide ( or she decide )
She is a cute girl and seems to be in full control of his destiny….hahaha.
If he does retire, all the best to him, how many times did we see him block a slap shot, barely able to hobble to the bench afterwards and return next shift. One tough s.o.b. he was.
that’s just creepy, or i’m too old to understand why it isn’t.
Meatballs?
A retired Hammer is 10xs better than Murphy.
It’s we because they have two small boys together
Great player and Blackhawks D warrior for sure. What a shot blocker and responsible defender. Best of luck to him, whatever his future holds. One of my favorite players.
If they do keep up with the “One More Shift” stuff, I’d love to see him back in the UC wearing the home jersey 4!
OMG, He was my favorite Blackhawk when I lived in Chicago. I had his jersey. When he was traded in 2017 I almost cried. Then I found out he was traded to the Phoenix Coyotes, I was on cloud 9 cause I had moved to AZ 3 years earlier. So I enjoyed watching him for the last 3 years. Really enjoyed watching him play and his blocked shots. Enjoy your retirement, Hammer. Will miss you.
