Joel Quenneville Fined $10,000
For his comments regarding the officiating in Game 3, Joel Quenneville has been fined $10,000 by the NHL.
The league fined a coach four times as much for speaking the truth as they did a player, Shea Weber, for trying to crush an opponent’s head into the boards. Go figure.
Considering it isn’t my money…. but in my opinion…. WELL WORTH IT!
Again, that is the NHL at its finest they have hit another low. I think Q was being nice with what he said I am sure it was a lot worse behind closed doors. He gets fined for that and Shea Weber gets 2,500 fine for assault and battery now, that is justice.
If he got fined for what he said then Torres ought to get hanged for what he did and has repeatedly done. THAT SOB BETTER SIT TILL HE GETS BLISTERS ON HIS ASS!!!!!!!!
Unbelievable. What a bunch of horse’s asses sitting up there in the NHL offices.
Can someone check on which officals worked the game on Tuesday and whether we have them again. Q is right. Those 4 officials are an absolute disgrace for not throwing Torres out.
Stephen Walkom and Ian Walsh last game.
Not sure yet about tonight, but my money says it won’t be those two again.
Maybe Q can pay that fine from his severance package! With the talent on this roster, the pathetic performence of the special teams all season long can only be attributed to the coaching staff. Q should be first out the door.
Q could save $7,500 if he jumped on the ice and slammed the zebras face in to the glass.
Good Point Drew… lol
and smitty… Kitchen needs to go before Q, even if I need to drive up from Florida and kjck him out myself.
Yes… let’s fire Bowman and Quenneville because Crawford allows soft OT goals in two straight games. Because that’s the coach & GM’s fault…
Actually Tab no one suggested firing Bowman. Even after the win tonight the issues with the PP continue. If the lottery for draft picks was based on PP performance over 82 games (plus play-offs) the Hawks could have the number one pick this summer! Unbelievable!! With the top talent on our roster the head coach needs to be held responsible.
