John Dahlström Headed To WHL

John Dahlstrom bioOn Friday, the Medicine Hat Tigers (WHL) announced forward John Dahlström will join the team for the 2016-17 season.

Dahlström, 19, appeared in 38 games with Frolunda HC J20 last year, scoring 21 goals with 14 assists. He also recorded one assist in 13 games in the Swedish Hockey League last year.

He was on Sweden’s roster for the 2016 World Junior Championships and has also represented Sweden at the the Ivan Hlinka Tournament and World U18’s.

He was on Team B at the Hawks recent prospect camp and scored a goal in the first scrimmage of the camp.

    Looked like he had a few nice finishes and prospect camp last week.

    If I recall the kid actually went to the draft in 2015 and was there when the Hawks called his name with the very last pick.

    …and in other news, Trvor Daley prancing around all over his hometown of Toronto today with “you know what”. This is hard to take..pass the Tums.

    Way to go Trevor,.,.never got any respect from the Hawks ,but,.,.,.,., he showed all the non believers.
