Jonathan Toews Involved in Automobile Accident
Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews was contacted via text message and he responded: “It’s nothing serious at all. I’m good, he was feeling better after being involved in a one-car accident.”said, on Thursday morning in the Loop while en route to the United Center. The Chicago Blackhawks along with the city’s accident attorney dealing with the case, have confirmed that captain Jonathan Toews was involved in a one-car accident in downtown Chicago on Thursday morning. The car accident attorneys from Austin area took personal interest in the case and are working on it.
At 9:22 a.m., Toews crashed his Mercedes into a support beam on the CTA elevated tracks on Lake Street. No citations were issued. The team said he was not injured and did not require medical attention. However, a trusted motorcycle accident law firm in Miami said that engaging lawyers to look into the case was necessary.
According to the police report he declined medical treatment, was not injured and no citations were written, however, the accident caused property damage and the people affected already contact the lawyer from this website www.423hurt.com to fill a lawsuit against the players. Toews has not skated since playing 21 minutes, 34 seconds in the Hawks’ 3-1 victory over the Blues on Sunday. He missed his second consecutive game Thursday with the injury, which is not related to a wrist ailment that sidelined the center for a Jan. 24 game against the Predators. The crash was not considered serious, as Toews’ Mercedes crashed into a steel beam around 11am this morning. Toews left in an ambulance, and fans were trying to get pictures, videos and autographs from the Hawks captain.
grrrrreat…im sure this will help the concussion
Glad he didn’t wreck his Chevy
So, are we to assume that he crashed because of blurry vision related to concussion or something? Scary.
I’d be surprised if the concussion had anything to do with it. He wouldn’t get blurry vision yet be listed at day-to-day, that’s first thing. Kind of goes for any other concussion related symptom. If he was getting anything like that, he wouldn’t be talked about by Q as day-to-day. I’ve had a brain injury, so I could relate.
Very “unToewslike” for captain serious. Sounds like a move out of the Kane playbook.
He was probably just heading to the united center and somebody cut him off and he hit the L tracks post. There is always construction over there and people drive like maniacs around rush hour.
Driving in the city sucks, especially on the streets with the L beams on them, can almost assure that He was cut off into the pole and the other car drove away, hopefully his recovery isn’t slowed
Problem is he was quoted as “Going to the United Center” but Lake where the accident is listed as happening is one-way, going East, away from the UC. Hmmmm…
Not that he needs a defense here, but he could have been coming from the west even if your right about the road direction
Pete, true…he may have had breakfast off Lake and come out of the structure there. I don’t think he did anything wrong. I am concerned though with one thing. Has anyone seen Tiger’s ex? Was she in the area? :)
Just read the sporting news article on it and it did say “Loop” . So that would be downtown east of the UC, but his driving isn’t questioned at all. The one thing that bothers me is that it says he was taken away by ambulance. Hopefully he is ok as he indicates.
I just looked at the pictures. It looks like a pretty decent whack to the front of the car. The car photos explain why he was in an ambulance.
Hey beachpig, you’re a douche!!
All this time I thought he was driving a Chevy….
I detect we are in the “no fun” zone. Sorry to offend if so taken.
