Earlier on Saturday, the Blackhawks announced Ian Mitchell, Lucas Carlsson, Wyatt Kalynuk and Reese Johnson had been assigned to the Rockford IceHogs. Brandon Pirri, Mikael Hakkarainen and Alec Regula were recalled to taxi squad.

Kampf could have Bret and Bobby Hull on his line and they couldn’t score. Why is this guy in the lineup every game?

I love Kirby Dach. He was my pick after exhaustive You Tube study. He had a reasonably good rookie season and outperformed Hughes and Kakko. However, I’m getting a bit impatient about the “almost” aspect of Kirby’s game. There was no “almost” about Debrincat, Kubalik, Suter and Kurashev. And I know this will make me THE MOST UNPOPULAR Committed Indian commentor … However, I’m frustrated hearing and seeing the following … Dach almost goes end to end to score … Dach almost tips in a goal … Dach almost dekes out the goalie … Dach almost wins a puck battle. I understand Dach’s age and his recent setbacks, but he has to somehow step it up and become a “does” instead of an “almost does.” I think he can be a superstar.
