Kyle Beach Named AHL Player of the Week
On Monday, the AHL named Blackhawks prospect Kyle Beach the CCM/AHL Player of the Week.
Beach posted five points this weekend, scoring twice against the Wolves on Friday night and then adding three points (goal, 2 assists) against Lake Erie on Saturday. He was the game’s number one star on Saturday.
The Hawks’ first-round draft choice (11th overall) in 2008 got off to a slow start this year, registering just one point in his first six games. He was limited to 19 games last season because of an injury.
