Minnesota Net A Wild Card

On Friday, Minnesota head coach Mike Yeo told the media that goaltender Darcy Kuemper did not travel to Chicago forĀ games one and two (upper-body). He also indicated that backup Josh Harding is an “extreme long shot to play in this series”

With Kuemper out and Niklas Backstrom still recovering from abdominal surgery in January, that leaves Ilya Bryzgalov and 30-year-old John Curry as the two netminders for Minnesota as the series gets started at the United Center.

Wow…tough breaks for MIN…the Hawks need to just keep it simple, get shots on the net, and get bodies in front of it..Bryz does not like traffic at all.

Bring on the Bryzz! Isn’t that the title of an old JJ Cale song popularized by Skynard”They Call Me The Bryzz”??I have some business contacts I do a conference call every morning, and they were pretty cocky about this series. I wished them luck and told em they will need it.
    No prisoners!!

    Let’s Go Hawks!

Bryz is a wildcard alright. He’s had stretches where he plays pretty well so it’s not a guarantee that he is a liability for them.

Only about 4-5 hours away now … getting pumped!

    GO HAWKS!
