Central Division: Busy Saturday In Nashville

The Nashville Predators came up short in the Stanley Cup Final, and Saturday started their building to get over the hump next year.

It was a busy day for Nashville with two trades and five free agent signings.

Bonino would have looked good in the Hawk head jersey …

    Even Hartnell over Bouma …

    Sadly no $$$ tho …

@Joey Zamboni …… I have thought exactly the same thing about Bonini. He would have looked good, indeed, in the Indian Head sweater.

    Bonino, geez ….. sorry.

Isn’t Emelin the D guy who Ragdolls Hawk players???

    Just what the Preds needed…

Maybe now the Preds can trade one of their other 4 stud D-guys for Duchene???

And the Hawks got Berube and some other 4th/Hog line guys!!!

Shit, I wanted to get one of these good 2nd pair D from Vegas once we had the ltir space. Not NAS or SAN.

We got what we wanted/needed. Still need that 2nd pair D.

Wall, if it were that easy we should have got one of those from Vegas just to do that. Why didn’t we do that. CAL added a really good D man, they might have top D. These really good 2nd pair D all for a 4th, 3rd and a 2nd right? Shit. I would have liked to take advantage of the expansion team/better like these other teams did. Shit.

At least PIT, WAS, MIN and others got worse. NAS and TAM got better.

Mcnabb is still there for a 4th/3rd/2nd pick. Is there a trade we have in the making and were doing Krugs bonus first.

Ernie, when did you/was that bonus date.

Jason Garrison still in Vegas Morrison, Kruger should have received his bonus by now.

July 1. New league year begins.

July 1 is also when his modified NTC kicks in so the hawks have to ask him to submit a list before a trade can happen.

  • July 2, 2017 at 1:59 pm

would seem if the hold-up to trading Kruger to LV was the bonus payment but waiting to pay it could muck-up the trade due to his NTC kicking in, then the trade before 7/1 would have been Kruger + bonus $ for whatever is coming back.

expect the trade either still goes through, or was never really going to happen.

KRUGER and De BRINKAT to VEGAS for THEADORE would have made real sense!!!

PREDS will be even tougher next year!!!

We have WINGELLS and BOUMA? Sounds like a bad circus act!!!

    Thx Mr. BOWMAN

Crazy how BOB MURRAY, DOUG WILSON and the PENS keep drafting great prospects while the HAWKS have not drafted a good (star) centre since TOEWS, a good (star) right wing since KANE, a good (star) left wing since SAAD, a good (star) goalie since CRAWFORD, and a good (star) defenceman since HAMMER, KEITH or SEABROOK.!!!!???

    Are they actually drafting?

Murph “may” replace TVR. No ones going to replace Hammer. Saad may well replace Hossa. That leaves Breadman’s hole to fill and even with $5 M you won’t find his replacement. 2 and 7 are a year older. Sorry boys, the window is officially closed.

Orvil with the doom and gloom. When the puck hasn’t dropped yet.
