NHL LOCKOUT OVER

Early Sunday morning, news broke that the NHL and NHLPA had agreed on a 10-year Collective Bargaining Agreement. The 2012-13 season is saved!

In the coming days, the NHL will announce the length of the upcoming season, key dates (including the more-fascinating-than-ever-before trade deadline) and season ticket holders will (finally) get money back.

But most importantly, games will begin again and there will be NHL hockey for fans to enjoy once again.

It is fantastic that we will be seeing the Hawks and some sort of season. But let us not forget, even after this outcome, that Betman must go! He may be the Owners’ most obedient servant but still is a disgrace and danger to the sport. I dont’ want to see his face anymore and dont’ want him presenting any Cups to anyone. If I want to see a face like that I can look at Pee-Wee Herman reruns.
