NHL Players Headed Back To Winter Olympics
On Friday the NHL and NHLPA will announce players will participate in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. The news was leaked on the site for the Beijing Olympics.

The preliminary round is scheduled to begin on Feb. 3 and the gold medal game is scheduled for Feb. 20.

Official announcement coming shortly, but NHL/NHLPA have the ability to withdraw if circumstances change for the worse. Also, if NHL games are cancelled during the season due to outbreaks and there is not room to reschedule, league has option to cancel participation. https://t.co/Bd1AZ51Zla

Initial rosters have to be submitted by Oct. 15. Final rosters will be announced in Jan. 2022.

LOL, China in same group as Canada and US. Given how lopsided these games will be, the PRC might have to censor domestic coverage of them.
