NHL, SiriusXM Agree On Multi-Year Extension

On Tuesday morning, the NHL made another significant media announcement.

The NHL, SiriusXM and SiriusXM Canada announced a multi-year agreement to offer SiriusXM subscribers across North America live game broadcasts through the 2021-22 NHL season. This announcement comes one week after the NHL announced a partnership with MLB Advanced Media to overhaul the league’s digital media properties.

According to the release, full details of NHL programming on SiriusXM and the 2015-16 broadcast schedule will be available at www.siriusxm.com and www.siriusxm.ca before the beginning of the upcoming NHL season.

    I absolutely hate the idea of having to pay for radio, the being said, whenever I rent a vehicle for work I enjoy Sirius and the NHL station on it. They do a good job of reporting on all the clubs so for a nut like myself you get an nice overview of out of town markets and players that you don’t normally see or hear about.

    I love having Sirius. I heard Tab on it once. I cant remember what the topic was but I had to delay getting out of my truck to listen.
