On Thursday morning, Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks was named one of three finalists for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, awarded “to the player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability.”

Matt Moulson of the New York Islanders and Martin St. Louis of the Tampa Bay Lightning were also named finalists.

We made the case for Kane to win the Lady Byng a at the end of the regular season.

Very nice, and well deserved…I thought you made a very good case for Kane…and like Toews, playing on the best team in the league, a record breaking team, this award should be Kane’s.
