USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp Update
Two more games were on the calendar at Lake Placid on Thursday afternoon, and all four Blackhawks’ prospects were in action.
The first game featured Tyler Motte and the United States against Teuvo Teräväinen and Finland, with US coming away with a 4-3 shootout victory.
Teräväinen had the primary assist on Finland’s second goal, a power play tally in the second period. You can view a GIF of the assist here. Obviously an effective powerplay passer will get many Hawks fans excited. He also served two penalty minutes in the game, but was stopped in the shootout.
Motte’s third line stayed intact from Wednesday’s game while the rest of the US roster was filled with changes. He played a physical game again on Thursday, but failed to register a point.
When the second game defensemen Robin Norell and Carl Dahlström were on the wrong side of a dominant performance by Canada. Dahlström had a goal, but Sweden lost 7-3.
Love the GIF… that was a slick move.

thx for video Tab… TT is a cross between Hoss and Kane w/ regards to vision, passing, IQ… If he can skate close to either one… He is a LOCK to be a great offensive player!!!
But honestly regarding skating, I haven’t seen him skate/play enough… other than hi lites of Last year’s prospect camp – when he skated thru the Hawk wannabees like pylons.
Anyone in Lake Placid? Please give critical recap on TT’s skating ability.
thx
TT scores 2 more goals- Continues to lite up World’s Top 20U’s… AND he is about to turn 19!
