Way to go Hayden!!! Guessing the guys on the team did a new rookie prank on your helmet and replaced it with a bigger one for your first two games. Get one that fits.

I’m just curious what needs to change in D-cats’ game for him to be moved up? Thoughts?

He’ll need to adjust to two things in my opinion-
    1. that it isn’t easy to score-that will be a big change. An ego check–for some it is a seemless change for others not so. He works as hard as he needs to now that will need to change. The mental aspect will be huge.
    2. The strength, use of the stick and speed of the defenceman in the NHL. He needs to get stronger-I think he will. He won’t get taller.
A third might be his skating-it’s good but not great. But his hands, shot and ability to be in the right place at the right time is what makes you go holy shit!

Looks like Hayden could round out the top 9 forward group nicely between Hossa and Hartman with Kruger available to help on faceoffs and change up after. Plus 16, 67 and 22 with Kane doing some double shifting a good 4th line and 11, 13, 48, 64 and 70 ready if needed. Defence looks set too with depth if needed, should be a fun spring
