Vladimir Tarasenko’s Regular Season Over?

On Monday morning the St. Louis Blues announced forward Vladimir Tarasenko will undergo surgery on his left shoulder Tuesday, Oct. 29, and will be re-evaluated in five months.

That timetable likely means Tarasenko’s 2019-20 season is over. The Russian forward had 10 points in 10 games to begin the Blues’ defense of the Stanley Cup.

That is rough news for Tarasenko and the Blues. In a tough Division like the Central, that’s a big loss.

Tough break, wonder if Blues use his ltir space to become players in the Taylor Hall trade talks now.

If Jersey decides to sell. Let’s see if Seabrook would waive his clause for Subban. Maybe they’d take Gus and Perlini as well. You know, as sweeteners.

In all seriousness, Koekkoek has played surprisingly well

Never want to see a star player lost for the season. Best of luck to him and a speedy recovery.

Ian–You know theyll use the cap space to get a decent rental for the playoffs. Chicago used the same strategy when Kane was out a long time in 2015.

I feel bad for Tarasenko but not for the Blues. F*** them.

Too bad – great player. Rolls like a T-34.

After being a fan forever, all of the old gotta-hate-em thing (Blues, Wings, Canucks) has faded with me, so I wish him a speedy recovery.

Do not mind this guy, hes a Bread Man brother friend.

STL can suck on that. We only have to beat 2 teams in central to make playoffs, will STL now be that.
