These guys are light-years ahead of the rest of sports with how they connect with their fans. Major props to the Hawks marketing department and also the various Hawks players who are featured in these – they are ‘real’people on these vignettes, and they are natural in front of the camera-which is not easy.

Jack I totally agree. They are so “natural” in front of the camera because they are not acting, this is who they really are! Kudos tho the Hawks & 50 – 65 – 86!

Look the the All-Star game, the players shower their true colors by embracing John Scott, who may not be the most skilled player but gives his all for his teammates.

It was a great feel good story for the underdog.

I forget which superstar said this at the game – The difference in talent between the top players and the bottom players is quite small. I agree, it’s the determination and will to win that propels a player to elite status.

Does anyone know where I can get a knit hat like Ben is wearing?
(large, red knit, white Black Hawk letters, pom)

I’ve been searching amazon, ebay, nhl, and Black Hawks online stores since I saw those on a tv crowd shot.

    Thanks

There is nothing better than these spots that the Hawks do. They make a difference in children’s lives, how wonderful is that Tab and for all you guys.
This is why we love our Blackhawks!!!!

Great message about what really matters-thanks
And Jack your so right about hockey players and (in general) their make-up. There is a genuineness and appreciation that some sports can’t seem to find enough of. Another reason to really like #50

Why did I chop up onions while watching this? Having boys myself, this really sticks on me. Their compassion is just above and beyond.

Damn proud to be a Hawks fan.

Drop The Puck; My daughter got hers at Jewel/Osco , but that was a couple of years ago. Children’s laughter, a precious commodity.

How great is this? I’ve watched it twice, and the tears fell both times.

Thank you, Corey Crawford, Andrew Shaw, Teuvo Teravainen, and the entire Blackhawks organization! You guys are the best!
