World Cup of Hockey Final: Toews vs. Hossa

The final of the 2016 World Cup of Hockey is now set. Team Europe upset Team Sweden to advance to face Team Canada in the best-of-three final.

Coming into the final series, Jonathan Toews is tied with Brad Marchand and Sidney Crosby for the tournament lead with three goals. Corey Crawford has appeared in one game for Canada, earning a victory.

For Europe, Marian Hossa has one goal through four games.

Here is the schedule with television in the United States and Canada for the final series:

Game 1 – Tuesday, Sept. 27 – 7 pm CT (TV: ESPN, CBC, TVA Sports)
Game 2 – Thursday, Sept. 29 – 7 pm CT (TV: ESPN2, CBC, TVA, TVA Sports)
Game 3 (if necessary) – Saturday, Oct. 1 – 6 pm CT (TV: ESPN2, CBC, TVA, TVA Sports)

    Both gimmick teams surprised alot of people. I know you picked the ernie young guns and they probably should be there

    I did have team North America as a contender. And they did not disappoint. Wonder if they had Ekblad there if they would have done better.

    Could ve made the against russians for sure id say and maybe swedes too
